I'm so excited. The 2012 Formula Drift season is back in action. Round 1 of the 2012 FD season kicks off this weekend in the beautiful city of Long Beach Ca. With a rich history of auto racing, Long beach is the perfect landscape for the season opener.
In less than 5 days the sideways sliding, gas guzzling, tire killing sport we call "Drifting" will hit the streets. This Friday, April 6th will be the start of round 1 qualify. Saturday will be the finals of round 1.
If you haven't been to a Formula Drift event here is your chance. You can purchase tickets for this weekends event at the formula drift website (Formula Drift).
Here is a little recap from last years Formula Drift finals at the Toyota speedway. Anyone know what's up with the Toyota speedway? I heard they filed for bankruptcy and are no longer in business. That sucks if it's true!

April 6th & 7th. Long Beach Ca. Come out and enjoy the Formula Drift rush. It's an all day event so wear comfortable shoes.
