2011 IMPORT FACE OFF FONTANA PHOTOS. Drag Racing, Import car show, Kounterkultured, Auto club Dragway.

This past Sunday I headed out to the Auto Club Drag way to cover Import Face Off Fontana. They say it never rains in Southern California but the last few weeks It's been dry during the week day's but It pours on the weekend.

By the amount of cars and spectators that showed up, I would have to say that true car enthusiasts aren't afraid to get wet. Unfortunately, the race officials and the Auto Club drag way's insurance policies didn't feel the same way. The drag strip was closed at the first sign of rain. It was a two part event: car show and drag race. Although the majority of the event participants were there to race but couldn't, I was able to get some shots at tech inspection as well as the car show.

Enjoy the photos below and don't forget to follow my blog before you you jam. See you guys soon!

Arizona's Jack Blackman and his Locash Racing Honda Civic.

Unfortunately we didn't get to see this beast go down the track due to a wet track.

Carbon fiber front end and some serious tire meat for optimum grip.

Felipe Medina's Orange 96 Civic.

Color was very nice. Overall build was super clean.

Serious grip here.

Nice!

For a drag car the interior looked pretty good.

Beast mode!

Engine bay looked really clean and well put together.

Mark Sutakajna's super clean Integra.

Mark's clean, simple and to the point build looked really nice, well done.

Eye catching Red Bride seats on white, nice.

Notice the Honda S2000 gauge cluster.

Nice Mark! Looks good bro.

A clean and reliable n/a build. Good choice.

This thing sounded great.

Geez! Beast mode or what?

Car show area.

I thought the wheels were cool.

Scion XB. Transformer inspired theme.

Tuning Technologies R34.

Very showy, G35. Well done!

I think you could actually eat off this motor.

Chris Rubalcado's 81 Oldsmobile Cutlass. The paint job was super detailed.

Graphics on this Cutlass were awesome. All the painting was done by Dion Giuliano of Kal Koncept in Bakersfield Ca.

Dion has some sick painting skills.

Where do you start with something like this. Love the black hole sucking everything in.

Details were everywhere. Check out the attention paid to the door.

I'm not crazy about skulls but I love the way Dion painted them to appear to be continuing all the way out.

Another paint job done by Dion Giuliano at Kal Koncept in Bakersfield.

Toyota AE86.

Engine bay is just amazing.

Clean Civic hatch.

Galvin Logan's super sick RB26 equipped 240SX.

Nothing fancy just clean and simple.

Never fails. There's always one dope little puppy at a show. Makes me want a dog.

One of the dopest figurines I've seen on a trophy. Import Face Off has some sick trophies.

Here are a few shots from the drags. I only have a few because it started to rain and they shut down the track.

Thanks for stopping by. Any questions or comments hit me up.
